There is not currently an Android trash bin, but this may change in the future.
There is no Trash folder on Android. All deleted files are sent to the device’s memory card. To find deleted files, use the “File Manager” app and look for files with a “Deleted” label.
On a Mac, open the “System Preferences” application. Click on “Storage” and then select the “Trash” icon. On a Windows PC, open the “My Computer” application. Double-click on the “C: drive” icon and then select the “Trash” folder.
There is no Trash on Android Gallery.
If you have a backup of your files, you can restore them from the backup. If you don’t have a backup, you can try one of the following methods:Use Android File Explorer to browse the file and tap on it to open it.Use Android’s built-in recovery tool to restore the file from the Android system storage.
There is no trash on your Samsung phone.
When you delete a message, the trash can icon disappears from the message list and the memory. However, if you delete a message while it’s in a conversation, it remains on the conversation thread and is visible to the other participants.
Deleting a file is like cutting off a limb. The computer tries to keep track of where that file is so it can restore it if needed. If you delete a file from your hard drive, the computer doesn’t actually physically delete the file. It just marks the space where the file used to be so it can’t find it again. To completely delete a file, you have to use a special program or erase the device.
Trash on Android devices can be emptied by pressing and holding the power button and selecting “wipe data/factory reset”.
There is no specific trash for deleted messages. Messages are deleted either by the sender or by the recipient, depending on the messaging platform. If a message is deleted by the sender, it is gone forever and cannot be recovered. If a message is deleted by the recipient, it is gone for a set period of time (usually 30 days) and can be recovered if it is removed from the recipient’s inbox before the timer expires.
